How Can We Improve Autograph University in 2012?

It’s been an amazing last 12 months at Autograph University. As I look back on our full first year of operation, two things stand out for me. First, the opportunity to share my passion for the hobby with you has been incredibly fulfilling and I can’t thank you enough for taking time to check out my collecting tips and read about my adventures. Second, your participation in helping this site grow through comments and emails is really appreciated. You play a huge role in making this site a valuable resource and I love hearing from you.

I have no doubt 2012 is going to be even better. But I need your help.
How can we improve Autograph University? Leave a comment and let me know.

What should we do more of? What should we do less?

Which types of posts do you want to see?

What questions do you have that I can help answer?

What changes would you make to the site?

What else?

I can’t wait to hear your ideas. Remember, you can always get in touch with me on Twitter and Facebook, or shoot me an email.

Thanks again and have a great New Year!

how about a post or series about to send requests, package items and get autographs through the mail.

You’re doing awesome at the site and the one thing I’d add if you’re going to do more videos is a “guest speaker or story”. You’re surrounded by a bunch of fellow collectors in Boston and Massachusetts and I know we follow a few on Twitter. Getting someone else to not only share stories but also tips of the trade on site versus comments. It may also help provide regular content versus the sporadic “when things happen” content that might get spaced out when opportunities are thin. Whether it be via video/questionnaire/etc. it may draw more into the site or more regularly knowing that there is so much content going on!

Also, if you have a bigger piece brewing, like TTM trading, put a shout out on the blog or the email newsletter for things you may want to include prior to putting out a piece or video. I think it would make a bigger comprehensive piece and if you have 10 contributors giving 10 tips, the 100 viewers commenting could add exponentially to the 10 tips. Stronger content and better comments to sift through. Can’t hurt!

Overall your site rocks and has added some great tips to my collecting as well as a great opportunity to share my methods!

Excellent suggestions, I appreciate the feedback. You’re absolutely right that there are a lot of talented collectors out there and I want to increase the community involvement this year.
