Thousands discuss autograph collecting every day through online message boards and publications but rarely do we hear the celebrity’s perspective. Through my interviews I hope we can all better understand the hobby through the eyes of the people whose generosity we request so often.

Hey Matt, me again Zane. Do you mind telling me the biggest NBA star whose autograph you’ve gotten through mail?
Hi Zane. Tim Duncan when he was at Wake Forest. I tore two pictures out of a Sports Illustrated and got them signed. I really haven’t done much TTM in the last 13 years (since high school).
What’s yours?
I had a school project in 4th or 5th grade to send a celebrity a letter so I Sent my letter to dirk nowitzki, I had him sign a plain old card. Without a doubt this is how I got started on getting autographs!
